Position Summary
Our fast growing customer is looking for a Web Developer III to work with their internal team of developers to modify, develop, write, test and implement Web applications using .NET Framework according to design specifications for our clients. A working knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, MSSQL and other web technologies is critical to be considered for this position.
Organization Structure and Interfaces
The Web Develper will work with application designs provided by our Software Architects. Assignments and task prioritization will be directed by our Application Development Manager
Responsibilities
* Software Development - using the designs developed with the application architects the Web Developer III will work to implement the project. Implementation tasks will include programming, documentation and integration of internal and external software components. The Web Developer III will assist other developers to efficieintly implement the project.
* Software Testing- Based on the application requirements test project implementation to ensure compliance.
*Software Design - the Web Develper III will aid and assist in the software design based on client needs. These designs will include database design, overall application architecture and the selection of third party tools.
* Project Estimation - work with the Application Development Manager to develop estimates for client projects. Estimates developed will provide the amount of effort required to complete the requested software development tasks.
The successful candidate will:
* Always deliver the required, working functionality by or ahead of the assigned project deadlines
* Be flexible to take care of ad hoc or emergency requests but maintain focus for the deadlines of multiple existing projects
* Maintain 85+% utilization to maximize efficiency when producing project deliverables
* Maintain an accurate ongoing record of time spent on assigned tasks
* Seek additional responsibilities without being prompted
* Provide current status of work to supervisor without being asked
* Serve as technical resource to other team members to answer questions and provide support
* Provide designs for system components within theoverall project framework
* Take a leading role on projects with minimal oversight
* Conduct themselves professionally at all times working with colleagues and clients
Requirements
* A working knowledge of building Web applications "UI" C#, ASP.Net, HTML,HTML5 CSS, CSS3, Javascript, Ajax, JQuery, and MSSQL
* Must be not only stront in C# writing the business logic and communicating with the database, but also who can use HTML.CSS and graphics design programs making a great looking front-end!
* Will want to see design work or sites that were implemented from a designer prior to interview
* Experience working with standards (CSS, accessibility)
* Learn and adapt to new technologies/methodologies quickly and efficiently
* Detailed programming (clean and commented code, correct spacing, etc.)
* Debug and find resolution to bugs/errors quickly
* Communicate status/issues/questions on projects
* Understanding of database and application architecture primary keys and foreign keys, link tables, functions, stored procedures, folder structures, naming conventions)
* Bring new concepts/technologies to the group to keep the company moving forward and have the ability to remain competitive and offer modern solutions
* Familiar with agile development process
* Capable of mentoring other development team members

* Experience using integrating websites with a 3rd party CMS
* Experience with Java, Oracle, and SharePoint
